Duties & Responsibilities
§ Implement and update the Information Technology function’s standardized policies, objectives, and processes and support in their development as needed.
§ Develop, implement and update of the Information Technology function’s business plans, initiatives and budgets, etc.… while ensuring they are in line with the overall the company strategic objectives.
§ Develop, implement and monitor Information Technology’s cost optimization initiatives and their effectiveness at the functional level.
§ Assist Operational departments to train and instruct ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems, execute corrective action when necessary.
§ Support managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP system capabilities.
§ Support administration of ERP security and permissions for ERP users.
§ Ensure ERP system meets business requirements and goals and fulfills user requirements.
§ Monitor the adherence of the company departments to the developed IT policies, processes and guidelines and follow up on consistency and timely completion of all IT activities throughout the company.
§ Provide adequate and effective IT systems to company covering:
Internet Access.
Intranet/Network Access.
User Access Control.
Physical and Software Security.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support.
Software and Hardware Installation, Upgrades or Updates.
Customization of existing software.
Data backup and recovery.
Applications support.
Other IT services.
§ Keep optimum overall Information Technology performance and ensure minimal downtime for all communication, networking and systems operations at company.
§ Identify and negotiate all outsourced IT contracts and recommend all IT suppliers and vendors and review cost benefit analysis and business case.
§ Manage all procurement activities related to IT services along with Administration function.
§ Provide inputs on technical implications of Information Technology and provides expertise in solving technical problems interfacing with external systems.
Applications:
§ Identify the Information Technology application technical and functional requirements considering the needs of company and define their related risks.
§ Perform Applications requirement analysis to evaluate and recommend changes to current and future Applications design solutions and alternatives.
§ Assist the Support Services Manager in planning the budget for the selection and acquisition of new software (ERP, CRM, etc…) and hardware by providing forecasted requirements based on identifying any expansions.
Database:
§ Select the Database Management System that meets company business needs, and set all policies concerning database availability, data backup and disaster recovery policy.
§ Create data models, perform data migration and data imports, and monitor the database for potential problems, if necessary.
§ Test applications of data systems interfaces with a focus on data integrity to ensure that all database, integration and data related problems are effectively resolved.
Networks and Communication:
§ Maintain infrastructure networks (WANs and LANs) and connectivity and negotiate with regional suppliers to acquire communication networking hardware’s for company.
§ Update the technical architecture diagram (showing specific bandwidth of connections and type of connection e.g. Leased Line, ADSL, Wireless, or Satellite) and the network architecture diagram that shows the network addresses of all nodes and networks connected to the Local Area Network (LAN) including list of authorized usernames.
Backups and Recovery:
§ Perform network scheduled backups and communicate downtime to the company users and support (Web, Application, Email, etc) servers.
§ Determine backup and retention schedules for databases, applications and networks, perform and test these scheduled backups on a regular basis and set backup safety standards to ensure continuity and availability of the company databases, applications and networks.

Technical Support:
§ Provide help desk support to all users by answering emails or phone calls on a timely basis.
§ Resolve faults in fault log or issues that require specialized knowledge or expertise.
§ Assess source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and ensure that employees are aware of appropriate action.
§ Raise prolonged faults or unresolved issues to the Support Services Manager when required in order to bring in external help.
§ Maintain company computer equipment inventory.
Security:
§ Define and document IT security policies, processes, controls and standards to safeguard and protect the company IT recourses and protect sensitive private data
§ Provide maximum security (physical and software security) as well as networking support.
§ Follow IT security architectures and implement them to ensure high degree of protection against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction and disclosure of information.
§ Manage database security including administration.
Key Performance Measures
§ Ability to support the company in fulfilling its requirements in terms of the strategic achievement of the function, finical position, strategies, etc.
§ Effective communication with the company management (i.e.: Executive Director, Committees, etc), when required.
§ Availability of the systems (average down time of IT application/system).
§ Time of network availability.
§ Timely resolution of support issues and problems.
§ Response time to user request.
§ Number of days (delay) to run new security updates for the latest threats.
§ Achievement of the IT Services function’s objectives within the set budget.
§ Fulfillment of present and future IT Infrastructure, applications, security and Networking requirements with the latest technology.
§ System performance.
§ Comprehensiveness and thoroughness of the IT systems, programs and services.
§ Users’ satisfaction with speed and quality of service.
المهارات
§ Time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate organization-wide IT initiatives.
§ Professional knowledge of Information Technology activities in terms of principles and practices of IT systems maintenance, support and troubleshooting, application development and support, network security, databases and IT hardware and software, server/client architecture and ERP software, etc.
Proficiency in both English and Arabic Language.
