Aircraft Maintenance Planner

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you must hold a High School diploma or equivalent, and have 2 or more years of experience in aviation maintenance and operations.

Be proficient with computers, printers, faxing, scanning, filing, and use of standard software, such as Microsoft Office. (Understanding of SAP software is desirable).

Possess a basic knowledge of FAA regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following: 

Monitor aircraft flight hours and cycles that drive maintenance activities and make corrections to flight logs as required.
Schedule aircraft and track aircraft flight time to evenly manage maintenance downtime.
Establish and track maintenance activities on computer tracking system.
Introduce new maintenance requirement tracking for airworthiness directives, bulletins, letters, and inspection program changes.
Work with Materials group to catalog new material.
Create planned inspection orders and compile inspection packages.
Reserve/Order materials to complete planned activities.
Review maintenance activity logs and ensure maintenance activities are set properly in the computer tracking system after each completion.
Open and close historical log cards for repairable and new time controlled parts.
Maintain aircraft and engine logbook documents, records and files.
Compile aircraft statistical reports, charts, graphs and presentations.
File and maintain aircraft maintenance records
Induct new aircraft and upload information into the computer tracking system.
Research historical maintenance information.
Compile major dynamic component due lists for budget forecasts.
Instruct trainee employees.
