Multi-craft Foreman

Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate, you will hold an associate degree in mechanics or related subject.

You will have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in handling facilities within Oil /Gas, or in Utility Organizations, preferably field experience.

Be a recognized machinist /mechanic with advanced competency certification, and be proficient in critical crafts such as; mechanical, instrumentation and metals. 

You will be familiar with the quality management standards such as API spec Q1/Q2 or ISO 9001 as well as equipment specification API 6A.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform and demonstrate the following:-

Be familiar with repair processes and the requirements for API 6A wellhead equipment.
Supervise the hands-on work execution of a craft crew assigned to perform large, complex jobs and emergency work, consistent with plans, schedules and standards.
Schedule instrument men, electricians, machinists and metal mechanics to assigned work locations.
Direct contractors providing services to the maintenance unit.
Visit work locations to follow up on work performance and job accomplishments of assigned personnel, and advise personnel regarding unusual maintenance problems.
Collaborate with Maintenance Superintendents and Engineers to develop daily work schedules, ensuring full and efficient utilization of craftsmen.
Review work performed by the Unit, and ensure it complies with inspection and safety codes, safety regulations, relevant API and maintenance standards.
