Job Description and Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
You will have Seven years’ experience with practical knowledge and experience in maintenance methods and practices within Drilling.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform and demonstrate the following:-
Ensure the facility implements the API Q2 QMS through continuous monitoring.
Update the API Q2 Web QMS on a daily basis (reports, non-conformances, corrective actions, customer satisfaction data, management reviews, and risk assessments).
Monitor and report on the activities of the Paint and Carpentry shops as their output (coating and protective storage boxes) is directly related to API Q1/Q2 services required for the Wellhead shop.
Control and monitor the calibration of all Wellhead shop measuring equipment (pressure gauges, pressure recorders, Vernier’s, and micrometers).
Oversee the CIP (Continuous Improvement Program), ensure all required action is taken, completed, and is effective.
Assist QA/QC Inspectors with day to day activities and provide back up when required.
Produce a fully ISO 9001 Compliant Management System (QMS) for the fabrication shop, including quality manual and procedures.
