Job Description and Requirements
The Digital Communications Division is responsible for overseeing the online presence of Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with exceptional command of the English language to manage, write, edit, and post English content to Saudi Aramco’s social channels
As the English digital media copywriter, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and writing content in English for the organization’s online presence across multiple platforms. In addition to proof-reading, editing, and writing English content, you will be responsible for coordinating with the rest of the social media group. You will work as part of a team and must have strong computer experience, as well as experience script writing for social channels. You will be very organized with strong attention to detail. Experience in writing for digital magazines, newspapers, and speeches or similar formats is highly desired.
Minimum Requirements:
University degree in English literature, communications, journalism, technical writing, or similar.
Five or more years’ experience in professional English writing.
Proficient in Internet use and applications such as Microsoft Office.
Experience in handling social media English content is highly desirable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Exceptional English writing skills (reading and writing).
Very detail oriented, responsible, dependable, self-motivated and organized.
Experience developing content — specifically for online.
Strong computer experience, as well as experience script writing for social channels.
Proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handling multiple projects.
Previous experience in managing social media content.
Team player with the ability to share updates, reports, and collaborate with different team members within the group, as well as the organization.
