Job Description and Requirements
Role Purpose:

Responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies and timely submission of purchase requisitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives goods and checks for the compliance against purchase orders-specifications (quality), price quantity and expiry date.
Maintains the appropriate record of goods received, ensuring that the computer entries are timely and accurate.
Reject material due to damage, and nearly expired wrong items, or not specified.
Arranges appropriate storage areas for stock and other items.
Maintains regular inventories stock items, ensuring that purchase and usage are correlated to ensure that stock is used before expiry dates.
Issues items to the appropriate departments, with special attention to urgently required items, following the procedures specifies for stores issues.
Regularly checks on the storage environment to comply with special storage requirements for the various kinds of goods stored.
Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the Hospital’s goals and objectives in pursuit of the Standards of Care, Quality, and Performance Improvement.
Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his competence as required by the Central Stores Supervisor and/ or the Purchasing/Store Manager
Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the Hospital’s goals and objectives in pursuit of the Standards of Care, Quality, and Performance Improvement.
Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, local and international standards or requirements related to the department.
Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs. Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review, and root cause analysis.
Performs any other duties within the range of his/her competence, as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or any related.

Good communication skills in English & Arabic.
