Job Description and Requirements
Qualifications Shall have a minimum of ten 10+ years practical maintenance experience of which at least five 5+ years will have been in F-15 Maintenance Logistics Systems. Prior USAF experience at the officer or non-commissioned officer level is desired. College degree (preferably a Bachelor of Science) or equivalent with excellent verbal and writing skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently completing multiple and often competing tasks. Must demonstrate ability to learn, understand, and apply electrical principles used in the aircraft industry.
Experience A military background and knowledge of Air Force Maintenance Logistics Systems is mandatory. Experience at Major Air Command Level or Air Logistics Center in the F-15 Logistics management of maintenance systems is highly desired. Proficiency in communication skills is necessary to analyze/write HQ staff level reports and prepare correspondence for command signature. Conduct systems analysis that lead to identification of trend analysis and recommend solutions. Management skills necessary to plan and schedule assigned resources to ensure the meeting of operational requirements.
Duties Will provide technical expertise to ensure the F-15 Maintenance Logistics System provides current technology, immediate support, and sound automation practices based on user requirements. Recommends innovative solutions to resolve them and to prevent their repetition. Assesses progress in assigned projects from a technical standpoint and/or concerning cost estimates, schedules, and performance supportable baseline requirements. Support the Parts and Repair Ordering Systems and the U.S. Federal Logistics Data System. Support program briefings and reports by gathering information, preparing charts, presenting briefings, and providing other support as needed. Qualifications
BS in Science
10+ years of experience
Knowledge of Air Force Maintenance Logistics Systems
Proficiency in performing Technician assignments and responsibilities, as well as tasks and testing techniques related to operations.
