The role

Infrastructure Director

This role will be based in Saudi responsible for leading Mace’s infrastructure business, creating and providing an integrated service offer which involves a combination of project management, programme management and construction delivery services to infrastructure clients across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing leadership and strategic direction to the infrastructure business unit.
Promoting the highest standards of safety, health and wellbeing across the team.
Being the face of the company in dealings with infrastructure clients.
Promoting effective communications within the business and with infrastructure clients.
Securing projects and programmes with new clients and capitalising on work with Mace’s existing portfolio of clients.
Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with senior client representatives.
Recruiting, motivating and developing quality people to support Mace’s growth in the infrastructure sector.
Managing and liaising with other directors of the business and the regional leadership team.
Ensuring the capacity and capability of the resource made available to clients.
Supporting and sustaining the Mace values and culture within the infrastructure business sector.
Preparing a realistic and deliverable marketing/BD strategy for infrastructure in Mace.
Working with marketing and communications teams in Mace to raise the profile of infrastructure and major programmes.
Establishing appropriate strategies for delivering infrastructure projects and programmes.
Developing realistic resource plans and budgets for project work.
The requirements:

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

Fluency in Arabic and English both written and verbal.
Experience living and working in Saudi Arabia.
Capability of managing large and diverse teams.
Tenacious and self-motivated.
Effective general IT skills across standard business products.
Experience across more than one sector and at senior management grades.
Previously working in a leadership role in the MENA region.
Experience delivering projects and programmes in excess of £500m.
Infrastructure and major programme delivery experience.
Established track record in the operational management of service delivery.
Previous experience of innovation, knowledge capture and establishing best practise in service delivery.
Evidence of commercial management acumen.
Confidence and presence to professionally represent Mace to a wide variety of external parties.
Qualifications

A master and/or degree qualification in an appropriate technical discipline.
