• Daily Operations:
- Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the sales in branch to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Prepare reports of Sales department timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
- Meet with team on daily basis to discuss daily operations/targets, before and after their field visits
Obtain and maintain knowledge of the sales and distribution channels and of competitors’ activity throughout the area, and share and discuss with the ASM for appropriate actions.
• Sales Planning:
- Develop the weekly plans for the assigned area in line with targets and send those plans to the Branch or Area Sales Manager
- Follow up –daily- on the sales plan and ensure implementation in the field as well as better customer service as per customers’ classification
- Execute the agreements with local Key accounts, according to instructions and with alignment with ASM
- Maintain good business relations with the representatives of Key Accounts in the area
- Make and execute the daily journey planning for the sales men in the team in order to plan customer’s routes efficiently in alignment with company procedures and ASM.
• Sales Management:
- Manage the position of chillers inside the stores ensuring placement in line with company strategy
- Take initiative to book needed space inside the new stores, as per the Sales volumes to ensure competitiveness
- Implement the rental and discount agreement with customers as per ASD’s policies
- Manage the data base in the assigned area that covers (all registered customers per sales route, bar codes for each customer, and chillers as per the classification)
- Ensure administration, usage and reporting with OPTSAL according to S&D;policies and procedures
- Ensure information feed into systems is accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the freshness of the products on the shelves.
• Direction of Subordinates:
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of sales branch activity is carried out in an efficient, effective and procedurally compliant manner.
- Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates in order to ensure their continuous development.
- Train own team in the field on Sales fundamentals and skills (Distribution, Coverage and Visibility) and update them periodically about company & Sales policies.
• Policies, Processes & Procedures:
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Safety, Quality & Environment:
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
