Responsible to be involved, manage and lead the operational team of the manufacturing department in order to maintain the efficiency, discipline, focus and to achieve the targeted plans of the organisation. To control the full process (inputs – operations – outputs) in an efficient and economical way.
• Managing relationships with third party manufacturers
• Purchase/procure raw materials/packaging for the goods
• Negotiate pricing for materials
• Identify and propose suitable machinery requirements for production
• Planning for the production for all products as well as the entire processes to achieve the target plans
• Follow up and supervise the shop floor to guarantee that plans are met on a daily basis
• Enhancement of the factory layout for better efficiency
• Continuous training and enhancement of workers and supervisors
• Ensure the team adhere to safety standards
• Cost control/ Cost reduction of the different inputs of the production - includes material, man-hours, consumables and materials
• Increasing the productivity rates of the full production process including workers and machine
• Responsible to ensure proper loading, unloading and dispatch of stocks from factory to customer facility with all necessary documents
• Issuing Material Receipts Note to store, regularly, for raw materials consumed as per Job Order
• Coordinate with stores to ensure proper recording of goods issued and received to production.
• Responsible for team creation including recruitment
• Lead monthly forecast meetings with management
• Ensure quality and compliance is met
• Ensure timelines are met
المهارات
• Ability to check the design and detailing drawings to estimate the cutting plans, nesting programs, man-hour rates and erection precautions
• Full knowledge of fabrication preparations/cutting processes such as sawing, flame cutting, plasma cutting, drilling, bending, punching and shearing.
• Knowledge of advanced related CNC machines is preferable.
• Full knowledge of steel welding including all steel welding techniques, welding positions, welding machines, welding consumables and their production rates.
• Full knowledge of the corresponding techniques and methods of non-destructive testing.
• Full knowledge of steel coating including blasting, painting, galvanization in addition to the related machines, consumables, specifications and production rate.
• Full knowledge of precautions and calculations of handling, lifting and maneuvering using the different handling equipment and transportation means.
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Steel/Metal related Industry including Fabrication
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills and other Microsoft Office Tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter, able to work independently, enthusiastic and can-do attitude
• Attention to detail
• Team Player
