1- Responsibilities and Deliverables
Manages the Healthcare IT Business Unit by ensuring that the interests of the customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders are balanced and maintained. Reviews and evaluates the impact of major business decisions on each of them while contributing both individually and collectively to meet Healthcare IT’s objectives in harmony with company’s overall objectives.
Develops implements and continuously improves on the strategic and tactical business activities to sustain and grow the company in coordination with the GM and/or CEO while achieving the required revenue and profit targets.
Develops business plans and quarterly and yearly budgets with clear revenue and profit targets and updates them on a regular basis inclusive of board grade presentations.
Develops new product lines by attracting strategic alliances and partnerships with world class healthcare companies and institutions locally and internationally
Implements and follows through with an innovative marketing and sales strategy to meet business objectives.
Maintains a long term perspective on all healthcare IT and healthcare issues as well as administrative issues affecting the business.
Understands company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all value added offerings to the client.
2- Main duties and responsibilities:
Ensures that financial targets are achieved; appropriate budgets are developed and approved by the GM. Ensures that the GM is kept fully aware of major developments.
Works directly with the GM in developing the overall strategies and business plans related to Healthcare IT.
Manages the operational requirements of the Healthcare IT through appointed resources to deliver a high quality maintenance and service program that meets the agreed Service Level Agreements with customers.
Develops implements and continuously improves the tactical business strategies and grows business while achieving the required revenue and profit targets.
Intimately knows status of all projects that are in the sales funnel.
Conducts presentations and workshops at customer facilities in support of sales efforts
Always communicate with our customers and team members in a positive and constructive manner.
Responds to request for proposal (RFP) on time with particular emphasis on providing the appropriate level of service to the customer and profit margins to the company.
Ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and that all stages of the project from responding to REP’s to presentations and negotiations and eventually project closure are conducted and in accordance with internal quality system and international standards.
Ensures that pricing is competitive and that the needs of the customer are carefully understood in terms of technical and financial packaging.
Provides leadership and guidance to the divisional staff.
Directly manages the large projects business to facilitate the submission of project proposals providing, where required, assistance in scoping, preparation and winning of such projects.
Drives the achievement of high quality standards, initially through ISO accreditation, and continuous quality improvement.
Participates in regular management meetings as required.
Completes regular monthly reports and when requested from management.
3- Relative expected output:
Builds the Healthcare IT business to meet the business objectives in terms of revenue, business development and profits as agreed in the approved yearly business plan.
Ensures that all managers, technical and sales staff meet their operational, sales, customer service and financial budgets and targets.
Ensures the operational plans are on target and that receivables are kept to an acceptable level for the industry.
Ensures communication and procedures between Healthcare IT and business partners flows smoothly and that payments to suppliers, credit lines and discounts are achieved and maintained.
Develops relationships with industry leaders locally and internationally.
Positions the Healthcare IT and its products and services to ensure its long-term viability and growth.
Ensures that all employees are aware of their need to achieve the highest level of performance while receiving a commensurate level of support and development.
4- Line of Supervision (Up & Down):
Supervised by the General Manager. Supervises the day-to-day management of all Healthcare IT Employees in harmony with company’s policies, procedures and through appointed managers and staff.
5- Latitude:
Has full authority from the General Manager to manage the Healthcare IT and appoint qualified managers and staff. All aspects of the day-to-day management of Healthcare IT are under the control of this position subject to the company’s prevalent Authority Matrix.
6- Decision Making:
Has, by nature of the position, to take decisions within the designated authority, affecting the management of the Healthcare IT. Is involved in all major decisions, which affect sales, marketing, project and the day-to-day management of the Healthcare IT in harmony with company policy and CEO’s direction.
7- Other Requirements:

Be committed to the delivery of world-class installation and maintenance services to our customers.
Conduct formal quarterly audits for all service customers. Conduct regular visits to major customer sites. Develop a comprehensive and sound training infrastructure and program for the HITS resources and customers.
Organize a showroom for customers to visit and train on equipment and maintain stable demonstration equipment and systems that are up to date. - Maintain a strong company profile and professional relationships with our principal.
المهارات
-This is a Senior Management Position with profit and loss responsibilities; it has significant interaction with our customers during the business development, installation/implementation and the phases of all projects. You must therefore combine strong industry and product knowledge and business development skills with commercial savvy.
-Although initially you will conduct all sales for the Healthcare IT Business Unit with the support from company’s technical and commercial team, it is expected that over time you would build/develop a comprehensive sales and technical support team that will report to you and be a part of the Healthcare IT Business Unit. The installation/implementation and maintenance team for large projects may or may not be a part of Healthcare IT Business Unit.
-As the overall Healthcare IT Business Unit Manager you will be responsible for managing Healthcare IT’s team of employees, business development and the growth and profitability of the Healthcare IT Business Unit.
