Attending and organizing meetings to promote, support and advise on all related warehousing issues. Establishing robust policies and procedures in relation to receiving, storing, picking and delivery of stock to customers, as well as ensuring that effective shipping, customs and expediting processes are in place. Ensuring that the Warehousing Section provides a continuously improving level of service to all internal customers in matters pertaining to supply chain management through the development and regular reporting of KPI’s with a particular focus on improving warehouse optimization and efficient stock delivery to customers. Develop and deliver a CRM strategy to ensure regular and honest interaction with key customers in order to continually improve performance to customers via SLA’s. Guaranteeing the availability of accurate inventory data via robust policies and processes. Safeguarding the financial and operational interests of the Company by planning and managing demand via best practice stock control techniques. Define, maintain and enforce Inventory Management policies and procedures. Ensure that inventory control policies, procedures, and authorization levels are adhered to. Oversee Inventory system Module. Ensure that KPI’s are produced each month in line with department policy and that issues are corrected and acted upon. Improve replenishment processes by initiating the set up of blanket agreements / VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) / consignment / Just in Time procedures… (report item candidates to strategic procurement team and follow up for implementation) Coaching and mentoring planning staff in relation to their ‘day-to-day’ duties Supervise Inventory planning activities. Control in particular common items stock levels Develop new and innovative ways to maximize the performance of the planning team. Set, implement and monitor plans for physical inventory count and cycle counting. Work towards reducing inventory value and items and elimination of obsolete and surplus items from corporate warehouses. Coordinate with Finance and/or users to ensure correct and complete write-off activities are processed and closed. المهارات Experience of warehouse and logistics management best practice with demonstrable skills of leadership and teamwork.
