Lawyer- Corporate Governance

On behalf of our client, a start-up association we are seeking a graduate Lawyer with 3+ years of experience in Corporate Governance.

Duties may include creating and implementing work processes that follow organizational standards, performing risk audits, and ensuring new organisational policies align with applicable regulations. Developing, implementing, communicating and maintaining governance, risk and compliance policies, processes and procedures.

You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the governance framework, monitoring compliance with requirements in the framework, coordinating governance committee and board member meetings, monitoring certain business processes, establishing and maintaining a record of operational procedures manuals, and analysing monthly reports. Facilitating the flow of information and providing key information to managers, board members and committees. Liaising with board members and fulfilling their requests for information.

المهارات
• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• 3+ years of experience in Corporate Governance.
• Outstanding judgment and discretion with high-profile and confidential matters
• Strong written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the desire and aptitude to learn new concepts on the job and maintain and build critical processes.
• Detail-oriented.
• Highly organized.
• Critical thinker with sound analytical skills
• This position is required to work with a variety of people from executives to board members to external parties. It is important to have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to forge and maintain relationships.
• Strong executive presence and a team player
• Self-starter with a strong bias for action and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, as well as general comfort with learning new programs and software.
