Can manage the team of sales & operations as a regional head.
Taking care of day to day operations, approvals, assignments, controlling, decision taking and improve the region at all levels.
Create, Implement & maintain sales plan for Wholesales network.
Achieve/ Exceed achievement of revenue targets, quantity targets, receivables targets, undelivered targets, dealer expansion , dealer development, new dealer addition and profits through effective people management and efficient business plans.
Maintain sales volume, targeted product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Sell in maximization by negotiating and finalizing the terms of contract with all the dealers in your assigned region
Sell out maximization by excellent display, demonstration & merchandising activities.
Assign sales territories and route plan for the sales staff in the assigned region.
Monitor the sales team to ensure they are maintaining excellent relations and networks with their assigned dealers and obtaining/ exceeding their commitment for the projected sales targets for the quarter/year and maximizing sell-in and sell-out.
Liaise with other senior executives across the organization to ensure operations strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives.
Strict adherence to credit guidelines to minimize over dues and ensure there is zero deviation from agreed credit limits and credit days.
Bring in operational efficiency and minimize wastages/ loss of business in terms of damaged goods and sales returns.
Implement aggressive strategies to maximize sales and market shares. Liaise with Govt. agencies, Vendors & Dealers on a periodic basis.
Implement cost cutting initiatives.
Ensure quality assurance procedures are implemented and followed as per ISO norms.
Introduce systems, procedures, policies to streamline business operations to achieve efficiency and increased accountability for the staff.
Ensure strict adherence to company’s policies, procedures and guidelines by the entire sales team.
Introduce reporting systems to monitor department wise performance on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly /half yearly & yearly basis.

Sell-in Management:
Negotiate and finalize the contractual Terms and Conditions as decided by the management.
Manage the daily functional and operational activities of the wholesale department in the region through regular discussions and meetings to achieve smooth business operations.
Implement regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with channel partners- wholesale dealers constantly interact with existing and prospective channel partners and educate them on company, brands, products, business model etc.
Proactively keep channel partners informed of the new products/ product launches/ promotional activities and other aspects impacting their business.
Actively seek conversion of channel partners from competing brands to our own brands
Ensure that the premium class dealers are adequately focused to maximize the sales and strengthen the business relationship.
Based on the promotion calendar of the dealer, keep track of special deals/ themes that the dealer plans to have and with the help of marketing & product department work out special deals for these themes or promotions ensuring substantial participation, visibility and display of our company products during any such promotion.
Keep a close eye on the market and competitor’s activity- regularly monitoring our price, sales volumes, SKUs sold, promoters’ performance, display, demonstration, merchandising and other marketing activities, as compared to our competitors.
Appraise and train the staff on company’s sales tactics to meet competitor’s activity and monitor effective implementation of the same.
Based on the market intelligence data establish and adjust selling prices to maximise our market share.
Minimize the product discounts and to align the dealers as per the contracts to achieve the targets.
Classification of channel partners into categories based on their infrastructure & Facilities; market standing; business potential etc.
For new dealers, assist in evaluation of the dealer’s market credibility and inspect the facilities /premises of the dealer. Establish the credit worthiness and business potential of the dealer.
Ensure that stock levels are monitored at each store level and based on the sell out the stock is replenished within 1-7 days of the invoice raised.
Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region
Monitor the sales operations cycle to ensure successful implementation of sales plan within stipulated credit period and credit limits.
Ensure regular follow up is done by the Sales coordinator to ensure the sales order is prepared on time and carefully coordinated with the warehouse to make the stocks available on time.
Liaison with HO and ensure all sales orders are processed expeditiously.
Ensure stock is delivered to the customer within a maximum of 7 days from the date of invoice
Liaise and coordinate with other department heads at the Head office and other regions to ensure operational objectives are met.
Regularly monitor the sales team to ensure they are following their daily activities as advised. Collect necessary reports on sales, stock, over dues, collections & aging from the sales team.
Ensure that all service issues with the customers are managed with extreme efficiency in coordination with the central service department to achieve customer delight.
Ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to by the entire sales team.
Coach and develop associates formally and informally through training programs and on the job training.
Sell-out Management:
Design & Implement the sales & marketing plans for the region to ensure the wholesales business performance confirms to the set parameters.
Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, promoters / salesman placement in the dealer’s showroom, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region.
Ensure excellent Salesman management & training to maximize the sell-out.
Ensure adequate stocks of all company products are available at all the dealer outlets & maximize the sell-out.
Coordinate the launch of all product promotion activities and provide adequate support to all channel partners
Be aware of any sales promotions/ campaigns organized by the dealer and ensure 100% participation in that campaign.
Make sure to take advertising space of any magazine/ promotional booklet/ display area at the hypermarket.
Ensure effective display, demonstration and merchandising of products across dealer sales channel to maximize the sell-out.
Display all our brands prominently in all dealer outlets for AV/HA /SDA & Air Conditioners.
Ensure gondolas are properly displayed in the dealer’s showrooms and the floor display is impeccably utilized.
POP materials should be made available for all the products in the dealer network.
Coordinate the launch of all product promotion activities with marketing & product department and provide adequate support to all dealers in your region.
Ensure each dealer showroom displays are mapped and details are updated at the regional office/ head office.
Review displays during personal visits and ensure company products are advantageously placed over competitor’s products.
