Responsibilities and Duties
Write clear, persuasive and original copy;
Proofread copy to check guidelines, tone, spelling and grammar;
Translate English copy to Arabic, or the other way around;
Familiarize themselves with clients’ products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities;
Attend Hangout meetings with team members on a weekly basis;
Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director, and present the ideas to colleagues and clients;
Liaise with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers;
Stay up-to-date with popular culture and trends;
Work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines;
Create and update content calendars;
Update digital media;
Amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account consultants or clients;
Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion;
Monitor the effectiveness of advertising campaigns with the assistant of analysts.
