Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for directing and managing the retail operations and strategic decision making activities to ensure planned revenues are achieved for the KSA territory in line with the business plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain and develop relationships with key contacts and stakeholders in the Retail industry across the region.
• Provide operational guidance to accelerate the development of the company’s growth and expansion plans as per the budget.
• Drive sales and marketing activities to ensure promotion of the existing and new brands.
• Constantly review store sales numbers, cost of inventory, operational expenses and inventory loss. Operations manager should also develop a plan to suggest to management how each location could change in order to maximize profits and reduce loss at the store level.
• Coordinate expansion of new outlets with brands and other stakeholders.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, warehousing& distribution function for ensuring effective & efficient operations, service levels are met or exceeded & all activities are carried out within the financial budgets agreed with the Brand principals.
• Establish and maintain a successful work culture. Recruit, retain, and develop an effective sales work force.
• To ensure adherence to current policies and procedures, staff and security issues across the territory.
• Provide management with different analysis for retail operations, forecast,
monthly and quarterly expenses and capital allocation
• Conduct monthly review meeting with respective store managers
• Set company sales terms and conditions
• Set Showroom budget, target & bonus scheme
• Create a weekly sales report for sales force with assessment report per store and analyze products performance in each store based on department sales plan
• Prepare products launching into market as per the preset planner and marketing
campaign
• Maintaining the physical presences and appearance of the new and used inventory and other assets utilized by the sales department including but not limited to: labeling, data entry, barcode, stock level, stock availability, set core collection per showroom and ensures product support, by maintaining a system of internal controls and operating procedures that will protect these assets from theft, loss, or unnecessary depreciation
• Coordinate with Training Manager to pre-assess and train the sales team on product knowledge and “Sales techniques”
• People management: - time spent discussing staffing levels/issues, vacancies, staff performance, PDP’s, succession planning, holidays, sickness levels, make recommendations on hiring, termination, promotion and discipline as required with concerned area manager
