Key roles and responsibilities of a Business Analyst:

• Responsible to develop a robust design for Tax process
• Responsible for client interaction and management
Key tasks:
• Communicate, conduct meetings, provide regular updates to internal colleagues to understand the needs of the business unit
• Analyze findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes considering opportunities and potential risks attached to suggestions
• Communicate the benefits of recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
• Prepare documentation to support work, report on findings and make presentations to stakeholders whenever necessary
• Provide support to staff and teams in making recommended changes, including helping them to resolve any issues or queries
• Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation

Following are some key technical skills/knowledge requirements for the role:
• Knowledge of Value added or similar taxes
• Knowledge of FORM based and Object based Taxes
• Knowledge of the detailed processes of:
• Tax Payer Registration / De-registration processes
• Returns and Assessments
• Tax Payments and Refunds
• Fraud Prevention etc
• Understanding of customer processes and experience in explaining the processes
• Ability to identify and resolve typical issues in each process
• Ability to conduct workshops and document the process flow

Required Skills:
• Overall experience of 5 - 10 as Tax Advisor / officer / consultant

• Graduate in Public Administration, Accounting, Information Systems or any other
