Contracts Engineer- Mechanical

• Review of Drawings and Preparation of BOQs
• Preparation of RFQs and Collection of Quotations
• Review of Quotations and Preparation of Comparison Sheets
Role and Responsibilities:
• Quantity Take Off from drawings
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities
• Preparation of Budget/ Cost BOQs
• Quantity Verification of subcontractor invoices
• Preparation of RFQs and arranging documents for pricing
• Preparation of Comparison Sheets for various Packages
• Analysis of Quotations, to ensure compliance with Tender documents
• Preparation of Subcontract Documents, in coordination with Contracts Administrator
Job Requirements:
1. Education:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Proficient in AutoCAD.
2. Experience :
• 8- 10 Years’ experience in Building Construction Projects, in various functions including Site Supervision, Quantity Surveying and Estimation .
• Should be familiar with Standard Methods of Measurement, Specifications and Drawings.
• Should have worked in Quantity Surveying for 5 years.
• Should be well versed in using modern software tools such as MS Office and AutoCAD
• Should be familiar with local market (Suppliers/ Subcontractors) and prices
3. Competencies:
• Solid Technical background in the methods of construction.
• Familiar with international standards and standard methods of measurement.

• Timely processing of Subcontracts and Variation Claims
• Timely processing of invoices to Clients
• Reduction in VO claims and Cost Overruns.
