Policies, Processes & Procedures
Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Budget & Planning
Participate in setting the annual master operating plan for the IT department

Day- to-day operations
Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Information Systems function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Project Management
Monitor the execution process of the IS projects, identify potential discrepancies from project plan, reschedule targets and report budget deviations, and handle the effective resolution of any identified issue of consideration, in order to support the effective and efficient execution of the project
Plan and manage any changes and updates on the concerned projects for IS services and products to ensure that concerned parties are informed
Identification of needs
Act as the liaison between departments and IS operations in order to understand and communicate their business needs and future goals
Analyse the business needs of the assigned area of responsibility and propose the development of applications or the configuration of the current, so as to support the effectiveness of business operations
Ensure that business objectives and requirements are properly documented and well understood by all concerned parties to deliver premium software solutions
Solutions development
Ensure and provide guidance for the design of the applications required from business according to corporate’s IS architecture, so as to define the rules for the applications’ development
Ensure the applications developed are aligned to business requests and architecture design, so as to support the efficiency of the operations
Provide guidance for the accurate and compatible configuration of the systems and applications defining the values of parameters and adjustments required, so as to enable their effective operation and cooperation
Participate in the testing of the applications developed, so as to identify and confirm their efficiency and accuracy prior their release to production
Identify and evaluate the most suitable vendors for the development of application that can’t be developed internally taking into consideration the cost and the quality of services
Solutions delivery
Ensure that all systems / applications’ incidents reported from the Help Desk Team are resolved on time and accurately, providing guidance for the resolution of the most complicated, so to assist the operational ability of the business
Control that all new applications and changes / configurations applied in systems and applications are documented according to processes, so as to enable and support the effective knowledge management
Follow-up and monitor the efficiency of the applications developed or configured according to the needs of the assigned business areas, so as to ensure customer satisfaction and support of business operations
Direction of Subordinates
Organise and supervise the activities and work of a team of subordinates to ensure that all work within the information system area is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner
Team Management
Provide the team with clear objectives and ensure its delivery according to the department master operating plan

Change Management
Manage change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans
Reporting
Ensure that all function related reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Related Assignments
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
المهارات
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, MIS or any related field (masters is a plus)
Qualification in JD Edwards implementation is MUST ( sales order management, inventory management, procurement management, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, Manufacturing - A must)
Minimum Experience:
10+ years relevant post qualification experience including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
Experience administrating production Oracle environments (JD Edwards)
Experience with implementation and operations of Van Sales applications (mobile sales workforce)
Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards ERP modules and applications
Perform complex/non-complex modification and testing on vendor-supplied utilities and packages
Advanced Techno functional Knowledge
Advanced Knowledge of SAP Business Objects
Advanced report writing
Advanced data analysis
Advanced project management
