Production Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

Preparing production plans and supervising its daily execution to track the deadlines; update data needed for preparing productions plans, keep all involved organizational elements to aware of the progress of production plans.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and monitoring production plans and ensuring the commitment for its implementation to meet delivery dates and accomplish the set plans.
• Studying the deviations between the actual production and set plans; setting appropriate actions to avoid these deviations and achieving set plans.
• Responsible to discuss the production plans with the production staff to study all obstacles, constrains and wastages that might affect achieving the set production plans.
• Revising standard operation procedures and working practices to ensure compliance with standards and best industry practice.
• Studying and analyzing available resources such as workforce, material, tools, etc.
• Ensuring the availability of resources required to maintain production.
• Monitoring maintenance reports regarding machine breakdowns, maintenance schedules and machines status.• Developing cycle times for all production processes; conducting studies related to various production processes, ultimate goal to achieve high production with high quality.

At least 2-3 years of experience in the Production planning preferred in the structural steel or Pre-engineering buildings Industries.

Hard worker and dedicated to meet production targets, able to work under stress and manage a team of people with leadership and navigation approach.
