Job Duties:
• Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
• carrying out regular inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
• Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.
• Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
• Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the day to day operations.
• Schedule, arrange and deliver HSEtraining effectively to site employees to increase and maintain high level of HSE awareness.
• Ensure all new employees are inducted properly into the HSE rules and regulations.
• Ensure emergency response preparedness provisions / plans in place and station employees are aware about the same.
• Arrange and conduct emergency drills for identified emergencies as per designated frequency.
