- in electric utilities involved in engineering and design of GIS/Outdoor substations (new and reinforcement/expansion) including substation layouts, single line diagram, cable sizing, equipment selection, grounding, etc.
- Ability to perform detailed engineering and design, review of base design and detailed design package, preparation of scope of work/technical specifications, review of technical proposals and relevant bid documents.
- Knowledgeable of applicable engineering standards; computer literate and usage of relevant electrical engineering software.
- Capability to train and mentor junior engineers to ensure familiarization and exposure to the same engineering field and improve their performance skills. MUST BE BILINGUAL (Arabic and English).”

REP-014 Cost Engineer Full time BE / B Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with minimum (10) years

of experience out of which five (5) years in Construction of 132kV & 230kV Extra High Voltage, Substations and Transmission lines projects in public utility companies. And five (5) years of experience shall be of mastering in financial matters and handling Cost related activities of the projects. 1. Will be assigned as Cost Engineer-II with Consolidated Transmission Area Projects Dept. at Riyadh office to control the Capital / Expense type of projects in SEC-Central Operating Area. 2. Provide specialized services in cost engineering. Prepare, review and monitors cost data for capital expenditure as required. 3. Be capable to prepare cost estimate for the budget, contracts, amendments, change orders etc. in coordination with the project proponent of various organization. 4. Prepares cost forecasts. Ensure appropriate actions are initiated when forecasted cost exceeds allocated funds. Advise management by recommending solutions to problems in questions. 5 Have sufficient knowledge of Primevera / Microsoft project and be able to utilize this software for the planning and scheduling of the activities related to Planning and Budgelting. 6 Candidates with knowledge of Arabic (writing and reading) is preferred. 7 It is also preferred that the candidate may have Cost Engineering certification from AACE. Justification:_ __ Due to the heavy work load of currently assigned Cost Engineer at Riyadh, one more employee is required to cover the work, duties, .._ and responsibilities of Cost Engineer for Electrical Construction works of Extra High Voltage, Substation and Transmission Line Projects.
