I am recruiting a Direct Marketing Manager / Events Marketing Manager / Digital Events Marketing expert to join this superb Events Company at a very exciting tie. YOU must have previous experience of Events Marketing preferably Exhibitions or Conference Marketing. will be responsible for promoting a number of international conferences over the course of the year. This is a campaign based marketing role where you will be using a variety of marketing tools such as direct marketing, online marketing and social media. The marketing manager will also set up media partnerships, write copy and analyse campaign results.
Key responsibilities as a Direct Marketing Manager / Events marketing Manager
- Develop marketing strategy in conjunction with the event director across a niche portfolio of events
- Develop creative marketing communications campaign for Client Conferences, using all aspects of DM – mailing, email, online, social media, SEM, PR, advertising
- Drive new leads for the commercial team through the effective use of content marketing
- Oversee the organisation of both internal and external promotional activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and within agreed budgets
- Coordinate all marketing plans and activities with other staff to ensure that the plans are delivered effectively
- Manage and monitor fulfilment of DM campaigns.
- Manage, monitor, maintain and regularly review relationships with key suppliers to ensure highest levels of service are continuously delivered
- Develop and maintain systems and processes which enable the team to carry out and report on its activities efficiently and effectively
- Provide Marketing Management with on-going and post campaign effectiveness reports and recommend on-going improvements
- Remain up-to-date with latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness
- Promote a culture of testing and change to continuously drive improvement
- Manage and monitor budgets, provide accurate forecasts and feed into the budget setting process
