The Creative Events Manager position will entail the following duties:
a. Creative Direction
b. Project Management
c. Client Management
d. Event Direction
He will be assigned to handle giant petrochemical companies and government ministries.
Specific Job Descriptions:
• Conceptualize event ideas and manage the art team in executing them into client presentation proposals.
• Pre-event and onsite communication with clients and suppliers
• Establish staff schedules, task assignments equipment allocation to ensure conformance with objectives and goals.
• Represent and deliver service excellence that is in keeping with the organizations brand.
• Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations.
• Negotiate agreements with outside providers and subcontractors to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service.
• Work closely with internal and external event planning committees and client groups to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand.
• Establish communication protocols and operating procedures with planning committees, subcontractors and program staff.
• Source venues, recommend and engage catering, acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute a quality of event.
• Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long- term planning and effective event management for the organizations meeting, conferences and events
• Work closely with program managers, committees and communications staff to effectively promote events to target audiences and obtain accurate event specifications.
• Conduct research and develop feasibility studies to identify new events opportunities for the organization
• Oversee procurement purchasing and client service needs with regard to catering, audiovisual, security and rental needs for events.
• Work with communications staff to develop brand, marketing labels and tools for events as required.
• Prepare event programs and confirm all necessary preparations are in order.
• Identify all aspects of event risk assessment and crisis management planning strategies. This includes, but not limited to, security for the event
• Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute all aspects of the event on the scheduled delivery day.
• Troubleshoot and smooth issues relating to the successful execution of the event program.
• Conduct post event debriefing sessions.
• Provide post event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback and incorporate learning into future plans.
• Able to develop and execute director script for the event flow
• Able to deal with the event film makers & video production

Skills
1. Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
3. Minimum of six years experience in event management, advertising, communications, or marketing- related field within an agency or corporate marketing environment
4. Well-rounded and with marketing background within an advertising agency organization.
5. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team environment, projecting a positive, can-do attitude
6. Outstanding problem-solving, critical thinking and marketing communications tactical skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to build positive, win-win relationships with colleagues, customers, alliance/channel partners, media and other audiences.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Self-managed, proactive, and highly organized.
10. Ability to effectively gauge project duration, deliver on deadline and within budget, manage a high-volume workload, and shift focus quickly to meet changing communications demands
