Service Manager

Ensure the monthly and annual attainment of the Department budget
objectives (sales, operating expenses, and net profit).
Supervise, direct, discipline, train, and evaluate Department staff. Propose
new staff hires, de-hires, and redundancies to the NSM as appropriate to
accomplish the needed work of the Department.
Understand Company policies and procedures and ensure that such policies
and procedures are carried out within the Department in the manner and spirit
intended.
Recommend changes to existing policy, procedure, and systems as indicated
by local circumstances to bring about continuous improvement for the benefit
of the Company, its customers, and employees.
Personally field customer complaints, and co-ordinate internal
communications and actions to bring about appropriate solutions and respond
back to the customer within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.
Prepare prescribed weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner, including
exceptions to policy which may have taken place, and other information
requested in formal directives current at the time.
Prepare annual budgets proposal and submit according to schedules
prescribed.
Be aware of conditions in the markets of the Region and report issues to the
NSM that present problems or opportunities for the Company in relation to its
business.
Ensure the Company property and assets under the control and responsibility
of the Department are secured, maintained, and stored according to Company
policy.
Report product issues of a recurring or safety-related nature using Company
or LLC forms provided for the purposes.
Perform other duties as directed by the NSM, inform and consult openly with
the NSM in the performance of duties, and co-operate with other department
managers and staff to assist in achieving the Company’s overall objectives.
Perform other duties, assignments by Department Head.
