Identifies all Engineering Design review & verification, preliminary Engineering & preparation of Relay & Control package for large scale HV/EHV Substations, Power Plants, Water & Industrial Plants Projects: CT/PT Adequacy Calculations to support Burden ratings, Control & Relay Panels, RTCC Panels, Metering Panels, Annunciator System, AC & DC Composite Schematic for Protection & Control, Logic Flow Diagram for Interlocking Scheme, Control Equipment Layout & Sections, Cabling Plans & Details, Cable & Conduit Schedule/List, Interconnection Diagrams, Relay setting Calculations along with all equipment related data and fault withstand curves, 380KV and 13.8KV Short Circuit Calculations and Breaker Selection / Insulation Co-ordination Study.
Identifies all Tendering in Substations, Power Generation, Water & Industrial Plants Projects (RFQ’s follow-up & Bid tabulation forms, Correspondence, prepares technical comments and deviations/clarifications, prepares BOQ’s & Comparisons), as well as partial procurement for on-hand projects.
Prepares the technical design submittals, materials, and purchase & variation orders, analyses and resolves the technical and operational problems.
Deep knowledge & Exposure to design software packages, i.e. Auto CAD, Micro Station, etc.
Ability to work under pressure, having problem solving capabilities, accepting responsibility, coordination with other disciplines, work as a part of a team (work collaboratively with his colleagues in the division and other internal staff divisions) , having good communication skills and liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
