Electrical Field Service Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Responsible for testing of CT, PT, Transformers, Relays, Breakers, Panel, Generatore, Motors, Cables, switchgear. Commissioning of substations, power plants etc. Protection and Control Scheme Check.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a Testing and Commissioning Plan, Method Statements, Testing and Commissioning Procedures, Data Sheets, Testing Criteria, Testing and Commissioning Reports and/or validate or invalidate testing and commissioning results for this discipline.

- Identify operational and technical problems and assist in practical solutions and improvements to system design when appropriate

- Preform MV/LV/HV Switchgear Equipment tests and scheme check.

- Preform Auxiliary, simple, and Advanced relay tests.

- Preform Secondary, primary and stability Injection tests.

- Preform Power transformer tests.

- Preform Power cables and OHL.

Skills and Abilities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Accurate and precise attention to detail

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

- Ability to travel to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Experience

- 3+ Experience in KSA.

- Experience in NGrid/Aramco

- Field Experience with test equipment’s.

Knowledge

- Codes and standards such as IEC, ANSI and NETA for Testing and Commissioning of cables, earthing/grounding, generators, HV/MV/LV Electrical Distribution systems and panels, transformers, UPS systems, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), lighting and lighting controls, batteries and charging systems, overcurrent protection devices, metering and relaying, power monitoring systems, energy management systems and other related electrical systems, controls and devices.

- Knowledge of AMR, SAS/PSA and IEC61850/DNP3 is a plus.

- EHV experience is a plus.

- PV systems tests experience is a plus.

- Harmonics tests experience is a plus.

- Life assessment experience is a plus.

Professional Certification

- PE certification or equivalent is plus.

- SEC/NGrid approval.

Physical requirements

- Ability to work in site and remote areas conditions.

Driving License

- Required

Preferred nationality/ languages

- Arabic/English is a must.
