الوصف الوظيفي 1.Ensures efficient and effective management of nursing resources. 2.Exercises and demonstrate effective leadership in Nursing Management. 3.Ensures smooth management of the ward/Unit and the clinics during the night shifts and weekends. 4.Maintains a good/safe working environment, in which patients receive a high standard of care. 5.Ensures that clinical nursing practice confirm with agreed Nursing Policies and Procedures. 6.Ensures that standards of care are maintained and that effective procedure exists to regularly assess and review the quality of the services provided. 7.Involves staff in determining acceptable levels of quality of service. 8.Informs the Director of Nursing when changes occur in circumstances which affect safe, competent practice. 9.Liaises with Head Nurses in ensuring adequate level of staff, across the units. 10.Ensure that Nursing staff receive appropriate teaching support and guidance. 11.Takes an active part in staff development and professional counselling. 12.Implement a system of regular performance reviews, assesses staff productivity and personal conduct. 13.Assists in the developing and application of Continuous Quality Improving Methodologies in the Clinical Area. 14.Ensures that untrained of floated staffs allocated to the ward are given appropriate support and guidance. 15.Takes responsibility for ensuring that all clinical and legal documents are accurate and legible, and that night staff understands their relevance. 16.Ensures that formal and informal complaints are received courteously, and actions taken to resolve them within the hospital procedures involving Head Nurses as appropriate. 17.Establishes and develops effective communication with all hospital staff. 18.Establishes an effective mechanism for regularly monitoring levels of sickness/absenteeism and taking corrective measures when necessary. 19.Participates in the selection, recruitment and orientation of Nursing Supervisor. 20.Promotes good working relationship with all hospital staff. 21.Maintains safety and well-being of patients and staff in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy. 22.Ensures that safe lifting techniques are practiced. 23.Ensures that all Hospital and Unit policies and procedures are adhered to. 24.Acts on behalf of most Senior Management staff during the nights and the weekends to ensure smooth effective ward/unit management. 25.Exercises efficient problem solving techniques in order to trouble shoot and manage difficult situation. 26.Observation for professional problems and to act in a timely manner in order to eliminate uncontrollable situation. 27.Takes decisions on situations when immediate actions are required e.g. incident reports. 28.Facilitates attendance of the on-call hospital staff if their services are required i.e. by calling and facilitating the transportation requirements. 29.Performs the agreed duties in events like Major Disaster, Code Blue, Code Red and other Emergency Codes are required. 30.Carries out regular hospital/ unit rounds in order to monitor unit/staff activities. 31.Conducts Controlled/Narcotic Drugs count during night and weekend shifts. 32.Prepares the administrative/hospital occupancy/patients activity for submission to the Director of Nursing. 33.Keeps herself/himself updated with the Hospital Computer Systems. 34.Takes responsibility for own professional development. 35.Keeps himself/herself aware of and participate in researches. 36.Performs any other duties within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities as delegated/assigned by the Director of Nursing. المهارات 2.Working knowledge of management theories and practices. 3.Previous foreign work experience is desirable. 4.Effective communication and leadership skills.
