Contract Admin
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for preparing, reviewing and administering contracts during the various stages of the construction process.
- Must be proficient in contracts development, contracts standards, and language.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to analyze and understand commercial and legal conditions in all contracts.
- Provide contractual guidance that fully satisfy and comply with Company’s policies.
- Ensure proper settlement of Subcontractor’s final account.
- Manage and administer Main Contract and Subcontract Agreements.
- Ensure correct assessment and review the determination of Engineer for all variation order related to Main Contract Works.
- Ensure compliance with Company’s procedures and Department’s process, manuals, and KPIs.
- Implementation of efficient and effective contract administration process that meet company’s requirements and achieve client’s satisfaction.
- Ensure that contractual functions remains effective in dealing and solving client’s raised problems, conflicts or changes.
- Drafting contractual correspondences to Client & Subcontractors and reviewing the Contractual aspects of both main Contract and Subcontracts.
- Drafting Notices and Claims (Extension of time and Cost)
- Prepare department’s periodic reports.
- Assist other departments in preparing their reports and give periodical updates for Contractual related issues.
- Identify and analysis contractual risks prior occurrence.
- Working in reducing disputes and conflicts between client and Subcontractors to the lowest possible level.
- Follow up on all issues including any cases that necessitate reimbursement form insurance company to get the proper compensation.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering.
- Min. 5 years up to 12 years experience.
- Must be a native Arabic speaker and fluent in English.
- Excellent Communication Skills (Both Verbal and Written)
- Previous demonstrated working experience in excel, word and power point are essential.
- Experience should be with contracting company (working experience with Clients or Consultants
