1. Ensuring all the food coming out of kitchen is as per company standards
2. Checking on daily basis the Set-up of all stations in the kitchen
3. Food preparation procedures are being followed by the staff
4. Discusses priorities for production of items with the staff
5. Keeping staff updated on recipe changes and newly introduced menu items
6. Examining the Labels. Stock rotation is being done using FIFO procedures
7. Shift visits to ensure stations are clean and sanitized at all times
8. Ensuring equipment is operated/maintained properly and consistently
9. Keeping Restaurant Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
10. Making kitchen production plan, determining the material needs in the production plan framework
11. Coordination between different stations in the kitchen to ensure that the food is served to the guests on time
