FAYENDRA is looking for an exceptional Odoo Engineer with strong e-commerce development

background to join our team. This position commands a wide range of knowledge and experience to

build and grow our eCommerce platform, maintain, and enhance our Odoo ERP Platform.

The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record as an eCommerce Developer. The successful candidate will utilize their e-commerce expertise to work on all aspects of web application

development on our eCommerce site including design, planning, information architecture,

implementation, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy back-end Python and Odoo applications
Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, and other engineers to
define, design, scope, and ship new features using elegant solutions.

Lead role in the development of eCommerce applications (Odoo or Magento,
WooCommerce, other)

To create and manage project plans and keep track of schedules for on-time delivery as per
defined quality and cybersecurity standards.

At least four years of experience in Odoo development; Senior developer in other areas
Excellent knowledge of Odoo Architecture; Odoo certification is an advantage
Design and develop Odoo apps (new module development, customization), front-end, Backend,
API integration, Odoo enterprise, and community edition Work with Odoo all versions

(v12, v13, v14, v15).

Must have experience and sound knowledge in customization, coding, and adding custom
modules in Odoo.

Excellent at Python programming and expert level experience with eCommerce platforms,
PHP, PostgreSQL, and MySQL

Strong understanding of unit testing and design patterns
Experience with source control and continuous integration tools
Thrive in an environment that requires you to partner with multiple cross-functional teams as
stakeholders/customers

Basic Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field
Expert knowledge of key technical and strategic concepts in the areas of e-Commerce,Websites (UX, Coding, Tagging, etc.), Search, Digital Media, Creative/Content, Mobile, Analytics/Data Science and Research.
Good understanding of SEO best-practices
Position requires the ability to balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to shift established priorities in response to changing business needs.
· Great oral and written communication skills
· Leads and mentors other team members
Preferred Qualifications

· You are a developer by nature, who is passionate about technologies that drive user experience.
· Excellent at Python programming and PostgreSQL
· knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies such as DevOps
· Readily accepts responsibility and demonstrates ability to work independently and in a team environment as judged by peers and management.
