Duties and Responsibilities

5.1 Home visits to patients as requested by the Home Health Care Consultant.

5.2 Any general duties assigned to him by Home Health Care Consultant.

5.3 Discusses with Doctor in-charge any difficult patient management issues.

5.4 Responds to family / Head Nurse / Nurse / Team Leader calls for urgent advice on

patient management or ancillary services.

5.5 Discuss when necessary any patient management issues with the patient relatives to

sustain home care services.

5.6 Writes refill of medication or initiates new prescription for patients seen by him during

home visits.

5.7 Answers any family query directed to him.

5.8 Performs home visits for other patients when instructed by the Chief of Primary Health

Care/Consultant Home Health Care.

5.9 Performs any medical or other general duties as directed by the Chief of Primary Health

Care.

8.2.1 Experience in teaching and clinical research.

8.2.2 Computer skills
