الوصف الوظيفي 3.1 Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department. 3.2 Provides the highest standard of medical care for patient for whom he/she is responsible. 3.3 Carries out fulI range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by the Director of Obs&Gyn;. in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges. 3.4 Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department. 3.5 Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Programme) as applicable. 3.6 Instructs and guides when necessary junior medical staff in the overall care of patients, supervises their performance/work and contributes to the training and teaching activities in the department. 3.7 Reports and discusses all unusual findings, complication or alterations in the management plan, with the Consultant/Senior Registrar. 3.8 To Admit, assessment and management of obstetric and gynaecology acute patients. 3.9 Care of gynaecology and obstetrics patients, antenatal, delivery room and postnatal patients. 3.10 Fulfils the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specilities with regard to continuing medical education. 3.11 Works towards completing his post graduate training and obtaining the final part of his Board or Membership. 3.12 Attends the Department’s Continuing Medical Education Programme. 3.13 Participates in approved research projects. 3.14 Share the workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues. 3.15 To acquire and maintain a valid certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 3.16 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness. 3.17 Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital as indicated. 3.18 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/trer knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities. المهارات 6.2 Commitment to leaming and training in pursuance of a career in his chosen specialty. 6.3 Ability to deal calmly, with tact an diplomacy to patient and staff alike. 6.4 Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
