الوصف الوظيفي Duties and ResPonsibilities: Clinical f .t Oetiver excellent nursing care , monitors , maintains standards of care within the hospital policies and procedures. 3.2 Perform nursing process; assessment , planning , implementation and evaluation of Patient care 3.3 Assess the needs of the patient and take action on changes in patient condition safely , and make decisions appropriate to the patients situation. 3.4 Collaborate with team leaders & other health team members in ensuring that appropriate medical care is given to all patients. 3.5 Ensure that appropriate consent is up to date/valid and maintained for patients rurdergoing relevant medical treatment is obtained3.6 Act as a patient advocate to ensure safe quality healthcare services are provided. 3.7 Maintain and protect the safety, privacy and dignity of patients and families. 3.8 Ensure safety on Medication Administration, management and use at all times. 3.9 Maintain a clean, safe and tidy unit /environment3.10 Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all patient related information in relation to senrice provision and healthcare treatments and services at all times. Leadership and Manaqement: 3.1I Act as a mentor to colleagues to provide support to all ward staff. 3.12 Provide recognition for staffprofile and development of the nursing team by; 3.12.1 Provision of clinical support 3.12.2 Acknowledge the individual contributions within the ward team 3.12.3 Good working relationship and define a clear individual duties and responsibilities. 3 .12.4 Respect individual differences and professionalism. 3.13 Ensure proper communication both wrinen and verbal is clear, accurate , free from jargon and presented to appropriate target group. 3.14 Resolved conflicts and misunderstanding in a positive manner without biased. 3. I 5 Act as a professional role model , mentor and preceptor for staff and students. 3.16 Deal with complaints promptly and sensitively with appropriate documentation and follow up reports to the Charge Nurse 3.17 Assume responsibility and accountability for quality care delivered to patients. 3.18 Assume responsibility of the unit in the absence of Charge Nurse/ Head Nurse by demonstrating leadership and management skills. 3.19 Implement the Mission, Vision, Goals and values statement of the Hospital and standards of the Nursing Department. 3.20 Monitor and keep updated the inventory for use of stock item and order as necessary. 3.21 Mentoring the newly hired staffand Nursing Assistant. Professional Development 3.22 Pxticipate on In-service training, Unit lecture and delivery of teaching to other members of clinical staff. 3.23 Take responsibility in updating oneself for personal and professional growth. 3.24 Provision of mandatory health education for patients , relatives and caregivers’ 3.25 Maintain the mandatory and unit specific competencies up to date. 3.26 Demonstrate safe and correct use of specific unit based equipment. Oualitv Imorovement 3.27 Uphold quality health services , \“customer care\” and enhances that interface between staff , patients and families3.28 Participate in the staff competency evaluation and make action plan for performance imProvement. 3.29 Develop and review policies, procedures , guidelines and protocols in collaboration with relevant nursing leaders and head nurse. 3.30 Perform other applicable tasks , and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge , skills and attitude. 3.31 Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives for patient safety. المهارات 7.1 Essential: Excellent in interpersonal communication skills 7 .2 Desirable: Demonstrate safe and correct use of specific unit based Equipment.
