Job Summary:
The Operations manager is the responsible for the day-to-day operations of the maintenance center and responsible for maintaining the desired level of quality of service, monitoring the performance of the Center and its operating staff, assisting in its development and representing the management in the center.
Reports to :
The operations manager reports to the head the higher management
General Responsibilities:
1.Receive customer notes from the receptionist and make sure that the notes already exist.
2.Test the vehicle before diagnoses and write extra notes if needed
3.Preliminary check on the condition of the car exterior and interior, making sure that there is what keeps the customer’s car clean at the work stage
4. Assign the vehicle to an Diagnosing specialist with explanation of notes and guidance
5.Receive the specialist examination report and make sure there is an answer and a logical solution for each observation
6. Determine the needed working hours necessary to complete the work and appropriate pricing according to the followed polices & procedures
7. Deliver the vehicle to the appropriate technician according to the type of damage and determine the completion hours and make sure to comply with them
8. Following up the cars and working status and deciding whether or not to request an increase in spare parts
9. After the completion of the work and after the examination by the second technician, making sure that the notes that have been agreed on with the client has been resolved
10. The possibility of identifying damage in the case of a complex technical problem
11. Submit a monthly report on the safety situation inside the center, fire extinguishers and their quality
12. Coordinate with the Finance Department to determine the monthly needs of the inventory
13. Attend periodic meetings and assist the higher management in making decisions and review strategies and their implementation to reach the desired goals. As well as making recommendations aimed at raising the quality and reduce time lost in work and reduce costs.
14. Manage and guide the spare parts officer according to the condition of the cars inside the center
15. Solve problems and satisfaction the customer in the best possible way
16. follow the documentation forms of daily tasks and strive to develop them
17. Prepare monthly and annual Performance Appraisal of operating staff
Required Qualifications and Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in the field of car maintenance, including at least three years in a leadership position
2. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
3. Proficiency in computer use
4. Proficiency in the use of electronic vehicle inspection devices (Scan Tools)
5. Preferably knowledge of using the “All Data” system
