Objectives:

Our client is a leading real estate company, is looking for a Finance Controller who will be responsible for the financial accounting operations of the company by ensuring that all activities and reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, international financial reporting standards and KSA legislation. Prepare and monitor the property accounting, the expense report, the ageing analysis of employees’ receivables. Responsible of preparing and analyzing accounting statements and reports to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting of the company’s financial results. Support the Finance Manager in the planning & forecasting process, annual budgeting process and performing variance analysis for actuals.

Key responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Coordinate and follow-up with vendor accounts, and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed (maintain a Vendor Master File)
Prepare monthly accrual at month end for unprocessed invoices
Processing employee Expenses reports and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform monthly reconciliation and follow up on highlighted issues
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the accounting and control information held in and reported from the accounting system
Ensure all balance sheet accounts are analyzed for open items (and aged where appropriate) every month and ensuring that reconciling items are dealt with promptly
Ensure managers and key staff understand and use the appropriate documentation and reporting processes to allow effective management of budgets, overheads, and expenditure
Work directly with the Commercial Functions on new or modified commercial policies
Participate in certain budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the Finance Manager
Prepare standard reporting packages each period for the business and finance management consumption
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sale, expenses and recommend appropriate budget (selling & promotional) levels
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Prepare insightful monthly analysis of actual results vs. budget/forecast and commentary

المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
CMA Certification is preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience as Finance Controller/Chief Accountant in Real Estate Company & Ministry Projects
Must possess a sound Finance and Accounting knowledge from a broad range of businesses, especially in real estate, construction, property development industry.
