Purpose of Position: 

This position will be responsible of developing and executing the data analytics and provide data mining solutions through the use of Database query tools, Dash boards and Business Intelligence (BI) Techniques to enhance capabilities and productivity of the Financial data analysis function. Furthermore, he will participate in assessing the utilization of ERP and information system audit assignments.

Job Description

· Develop, maintain, and innovate database solutions for Finance Department.
· Gathering, analyzing and assuring quality of the data to meet Financial department requirements. This includes perform complex data analytic procedures on a diverse scope of problems.
· Document the analytic results in a way that can be understood and used for financial analysis purposes.
· Create automated reporting (e.g. Receivables, P&L;and other reports as requested by management)
· Create cyclical reporting packages and create methodology for regular analysis of data.
· Understand the Functionality/Business activities performed inside the ERP and other software.
· Examine the data warehouse structure to determine the best tables and columns that contain the important information.
· Participate in building and maintaining a centralized data warehouse and create rules in Microsoft SQL to data allocate across multiple dimensions.
· Performing an ERP Assessment to determine how the ERP is utilized and identify opportunities for generating additional value (missed opportunities).
· Perform other tasks as assigned by Finance management.
المهارات
Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System, Accounting or Finance.

· Possess or working towards a professional designation such as CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is preferred. Vendor specific certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert MCSE in Data Management and Analytics is an adding value.

Experience

· 3+ years working experience of data warehousing, data analytics, dashboard and data mining tools such as ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Tableau, and MS Access.

· Working knowledge of ERP system (JDE would be preferred), Dashboard and CAAT (Power BI /IDEA / ACL) software.

· Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, database query tools, and database design concepts.

· Knowledge of Financial processes, internal controls, and understanding of the financial reporting process.

· Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Skills

· Ability to learn business processes quickly, identify risks and understand relationships between the systems and business functions.

· Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task and manage frequent priority change.

· Excellent business and numerical analytical skills, problem solving skills and ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.

· Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Must be a self-starter and creative.
