Main Purpose:
Manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and tax audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts. To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude and be able to manage a team.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our financial management is accurate and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Participate in regular tax audits and Zakat.
Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
Manage month-end and year-end closing.
Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with the company’s targets.
Ensure compliance with Saudi law.
Ensures the accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements and reporting. Provides effective and efficient accounting operations and support and produces reports to aid business decision making. Assures fit for purpose financial policies, governance, and business controls across the company.
Drives and controls corporate financial forecasting, planning and budgetary procedures to produce timely and accurate forecasts, plans and budgets to enable effective management of resources, business performance, and relationships.
Produces and presents management (includes costing) accounting and reporting systems that support decision making in the business.
Work as a strategic partner with other departments to meet IKTIVA requirements and other requirements.
Complete IKTVA reports. Most importantly, ensure that the Company meets its obligations in KSA supporting localization.
Ensures accuracy and integrity of financial accounting systems, controls and internal/external reporting statements to ensure compliance with approved accounting standards, regulations, and legislative requirements.
Develops and issues various periodic management accounting and information reports to meet finance director, audit committee and heads of departments reporting requirements and support senior management decision making.
Ensures company-wide compliance with company corporate governance, business controls, legal and fiscal requirements. Proactively liaises with Businesses to improve financial and business control systems.
Manages and motivates team within the department and acts as a champion for all company policies and procedures particularly in the areas of human resources and health and safety.

Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting/finance (or equivalent) preferably a qualified accountant or a Master’s degree holder.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience.
Experience with accounting software (e.g. KPI, Odoo, Zoho)
Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team management skills.
Ability to prioritize work
Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus.
