Consultant Radiologist

الوصف الوظيفي
Review, manage and make a report in various sub specialties of radiology. Supervise the specialist in the department. Participate in the Continuous Medical Education program. Maintain and improve the high quality service for Radiology patient.

Cooperate with other colleagues for smooth running of the department. Any other assignment given by the Chief Medical Officer or the Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Reporting all MRI, CT Scan studies.
-Performing and reporting all ultrasound and Doppler studies.
-Performing special procedures and reporting conventional radiography.
-Second opinion scanning for difficult cases of ultrasound scans and special procedures.
-Supervise the radiologist and technicians in their area, according to the schedule.
-To develop policies and procedures to maintain radiological activities and participation in other review committee in the hospital.
Cover 2nd call duties.
-Attends and shares continuing education, performance improvement programs and interdepartmental meetings to keep updated with the current practices.
-Provides full explanation regarding the plan of care and the available treatment options to the patient and care giver in a simple language.
-Encourages the patient and care giver to participate in taking decisions affecting the course of treatment.
-Provides educational materials related to the case for the patient and care giver.
-Plans the educational session with the patient and family after checking their willingness to learn and their learning preferences.

المهارات
QUALIFICATION:

-Must have MD or equivalent qualification from a Western Country.
-Must hold a current medical licence.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

-3- to 5 years excperience after CCT/CCST from UK, German Board or French Board etc…
-Customer service focused. Capable to work and produce under pressure
-Intermediate computer skills (Windows and Microsoft)
-Excellent interpersonal communication.
-English language and awareness of arabic language.
-Familiar with islamic and arabic culture.
