To ensure effective arrangements are in place for all uplifts, transportation, and deliveries on behalf of the company so orders are delivered to their destinations safely, on time and in the most cost-effective way.
المهارات
Direct and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service activities. Participate in strategic planning for logistics and customer services.
Support effective and timely implementation of all Logistics operational goals inclusive of Shipping functions and Inventory Management.
Assist develops monthly reports of required project timelines, corporate metrics, and productivity measurements.
Support Warehouse management including reconciliation and maintenance of inventory levels.
Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability and reduce shipping costs.
Oversee and monitor the availability of stock to reduce shortages.
Maintain relations with carriers, customs broker, sales force and customers.
Process receipt of orders and on-time delivery by the network of courier companies from the warehouse.
Plan and arrange logistics for required shipments.
Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to top management.
Maintain logistic process documentation e.g. accurate delivery notes, goods delivery notes, etc.
Provide assistance to the Warehouse Supervisor to verify the accuracy of all product orders, package, label, and to initiate shipments specific to customer requirements.
Record shipment activities in the SOMS system.
Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning system.
Ensure partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Communicating productively with clients and respond to their requirements.
Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
Monitoring transport costs. maintenance and requirements
Negotiating and bargaining transportation prices.
Dealing with the effects of congestion.
