· Manage a team of engineers, ensure design integrity is maintained and design requirements from other disciplines integrated into discipline outputs.
· Provide leadership in the implementation of safe designs
· Identify engineering activities and deliverables to deliver FEED scope of works
· Assist with the development of discipline estimates
· Provide discipline input into overall engineering schedule
· Provide key guidance and resolution as required on all discipline technical issues to support project delivery
· Provide technical direction in developing, managing, checking and approving calculations, drawings, data sheets, technical queries, specifications and other technical design documentation as required
· Manage discipline budgets to mitigate risks and ensure that activities and deliverables are delivered in a cost effective manner
· Liaise with client Engineering team for scope refinement and lead engineering discussions.
· Develop good and effective working relationships with key client Engineering team members.
· Maintain a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation, standards and codes as they apply to projects, and ensure that all engineering work adheres to applicable regulation and requirements.
· Provide mentoring for discipline and work experience personnel.
· Conduct informal and formal reviews of staff within the team.

المهارات
-15 yrs + experience in engineering or approved equivalent
-Bachelor’s of Engineering degree
-Extensive downstream oil and gas experience
-Strong knowledge in applying relevant industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes
-Ability to deliver best practice design, with emphasis on cost-effective engineering
-Significant experience with and knowledge of safety requirements for the oil and gas industry
-Strong strategic thinking ability
-Mentoring and coaching ability
-Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to discipline and other members of the project team
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Significant previous experience in a similar senior role
-High degree of competency in Microsoft Offices suite of programs
