Develops and establishes key client relationships. Prepares proposal response to client opportunities, including technical scope of work, pricing and support of commercial terms
Prepares project execution plans and H&S;plans and delivers on selected project, as proposed to clients. Executes on selected projects as the project manager, including client communications, achieving expected project financial results and team / schedule / task coordination
Assists in subcontractor procurement and coordination
Conducts complex engineering, scientific assessment and analysis within key subject matter areas
Prepares technical reports, in whole or in part, depending on the size and complexity of the document and key subject matter areas
Attend clients and regulators meetings. Performs Organizationerately complex technical tasks or plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates project work for large work scopes
Demonstrates technical competency in a combination of areas including site remediation, environmental planning & permitting or environmental compliance
Assists in mentoring and directing junior level staff. Supervise in case of need the execution of multi - media sampling including soil, groundwater, vapor, indoor Institute, asbestos, and other regulated materials
Conducts emergency response efforts in response to spills or other client requests
Conducts oversight of subcontractors, including drillers (direct push, sonic, and hollow stem auger), remediation contractors and emergency response contractors
Evaluates compliance of subcontractor work against technical specifications and scopes of work. Reviews work plans, change order requests, payment requests and other subcontractor submittals
Demonstrates and maintains competency in a diverse set of environmental regulations
Motivates, trains and mentors subordinate staff assigned to his / her tasks or projects
The position may entail approximately 80% office work and 20% field work on a variety of projects primarily for industrial and commercial clients
Manage the P&L;of the assigned projects including contracting with subcontractors, monitoring the progress of the tasks / milestones, invoicing, payments, extra work, customers satisfaction
Skills / Qualifications
B S degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences
M S degree in Environmental Engineering / Sciences or related engineering field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience predominantly working in the Middle East
A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities
Willingness and ability to interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, clients and develop effective teamwork relationships
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required
Must pass drug test, entrance physical and background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the companys driving (MVR) policy
Driving license
M S degree in related Environmental & Engineering
