Chief Accountant

الوصف الوظيفي
The Chief Accountant reports to the Executive Directors in the company and contributes to the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing & performing all financial tasks, Accounting tasks, maintaining up to date records, managing and generating VAT reports..etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
1- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
2- Manage outsourced functions with coordination of top executive managers

3- Manage & Perform the daily activities of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives

4- Manage & maintain proper accounting records on the company’s ERP System that allow for real-time track of financial key figures
5- Prepare & present 13 week cash flow forecast

6- Maintain banking relationships and help in establishing bank facilities to ensure proper financing for the company’s operations.

6- Prepare & present monthly financial & P&L;report
7- Update on weekly bases the company’s ERP system & generate weekly Projects Reports

8- Manage the daily accounting tasks, petty cash, pay roll, account receivables, account payables...etc
9- Oversee the collection of due payments from customers with coordination with executive directors and related departments
10- Manage the credit facilities provided by suppliers and monthly report to executive directors the plans & strategy to fulfil suppliers financial requirements
11- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget with coordination with executive directors and related departments
12- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
13- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
14- Prepare & generate yearly financials with coordination of teh company’s appointed audits

المهارات
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Saudi Arabia’s Transferable Iqama is a must
- At least 3 years experience in Construction / Contracting Companies in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent knowledge in Saudi Arabia’s accounting practices
- Excellent knowledge in VAT & VAT reporting
- Excellent skills in using ERP systems. SAP B1 experience is a big plus.
- Ability to handle pressure & meet deadlines
- Analytical thinking and ability to predict challenges
- Excellent planner & highly organized personality
- Fluent in English
