SP3D Piping Designer (Saudi National Only)

• Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, or infrastructure industries and has engineering design experience on large projects.
• Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures and specifications.
• Excellent Working knowledge of SP3D / Smart Plant 3D Model Review / Extraction of General Arrangement and Isometric drawings and MTO.
• Candidate must have a good knowledge of piping related international codes and standards such as API 5l, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8 and their application to the design process.
• Excellent Knowledge of in-plant piping design and familiarity with Intergraph SmartPlant software.• Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco projects is preferred.

Responsibilities
• Participate in a team of assigned designers in the production of piping discipline SP3D models to the agreed schedule.
• Extract the various discipline deliverables from the SP3D model to the agreed schedule.
• Apply recognized detail engineering practices applicable to piping design. Good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines and departments.
• Carry out clash resolution , IDC checks, review of Vendor drawings.• Prepare SmartPlant 3D model or 2D drawings as per valid input. Preparation of Isometrics, Piping GA drawing , nozzle orientation, etc…
