E commerce – QA Lead

Job Summary:QA Lead needed in Saudi Arabia/Bahrain for an exciting new ecommerce platform implementation for a leading Omni Channel retailer engaging on a digital transformation project.

Candidate will be deeply involved in all phases of the solution development life cycle including design, development, testing, implementation and support. Candidate will work closely with internal team of developers/testers and external SI, and will be responsible to ensure that all testing functions are hitting the targeted milestones. Candidates should have experience across the ecommerce domains (preferably retail) including testing an end-to-end SAP Hybris ecommerce platform implementation. Candidates who exhibit a strong understanding of Agile (Scrum), behaviour driven development, Continuous Integration, hands on automation experience and testing a cloud based solution are most desirable.

1. Overall 7 to 9 years’ hands-on testing experience with experience in retail and ecommerce domains using automation tools.
2. Demonstrable experience in testing consumer-facing and/or over the cloud solutions / products preferably SAP Hybris cloud.
3. Demonstrable experience of testing desktop and mobile applications across multiple devices and browsers.
4. Excellent hands on experience with automation tools like Selenium, QTP, LoadRuner etc. including experience with development and maintenance of test automation scripts.
5. Familiarity with BDD and tools like Cucumber, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Selenium WebDriver, Webdriver.io.
6. Excellent working experience on tools like JIRA and confluence
7. Experience in managing test strategy, test planning and QA test cycles.
8. Proven experience in leading and managing QA team right from test planning to test closure of the project.
9. Experience in using test management tools.
10. Good understanding of tools and processes for test data management.
11. Experience in supporting various testing activities such as Functional, Regression, System Integration, Performance, Browser, Security
12. Proven experience in feasibility & Gap analysis and Impact analysis to identify business critical & high-risk areas of the application
13. Good understanding of merchandizing, assortments, product life cycle, single/multiple step checkout process, payment providers, rating and reviews, recommendations and order submission.
14. Good understanding of order life cycle.15. Experience of working in agile methodology.
