Ecommerce – Technical Architect

Job Summary:Ecommerce solution architect needed in Saudi Arabia/Bahrain for an exciting new ecommerce platform implementation for a leading Omni Channel retailer engaging on a digital transformation project.

This role is responsible for working with SI and internal teams consisting of technical architects, systems analysts, and other developers to design, implement and deliver the highest quality ecommerce platform. Candidate will be deeply involved in all phases of the solution development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support. Candidates should have expertise across the ecommerce domain, including extensive experience with the SAP Hybris ecommerce platform, as well integrations with critical business/enterprise systems including OMS, CRM, ERP and WCMS systems. Candidates who exhibit a strong understanding of Agile (Scrum), Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Cloud-based architecture, build and deployment utilities, and best coding practices are most desirable. A team oriented approach focused on collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor other developers are critical to success in this role.

1. Strong technologist with overall experience of 8 to 12 years.
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing ecommerce applications.
3. Demonstrable experience of ecommerce delivery within one or more domains (retail preferred)
4. Demonstrable Hybris experience in the capacity of solution architect/lead with hands-on implementation experience of the Hybris product
5. Demonstrable experience and understanding of Hybris integration with various enterprise/corporate and third party systems like SAP ERP, Oracle Retail, CMS, Search Engines, Recommendations, Rating & Reviews, Payment, etc.
6. Demonstrable experience in Hybris web services and promotion engine.
7. Good Knowledge of cockpits, profiles, contents, components, back office, PIM, OCC and other important aspects of Hybris.
8. Extremely strong understanding of core Hybris module and out of the box functionality.
9. Excellent knowledge of JAVA/J2EE, Architecture Patterns, Design Patterns, Spring Framework, AJAX, Maven
10. Ability to analyse and define integration architectures for the latest technologies to enable future re-use.
11. Experience with web technologies, application servers, middleware, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance and scalability
12. Good understanding of Omni-Channel Digital Marketing services including Web, Mobile, Print-Media and other peripheral services like Web Analytics, Campaign Management, personalization, etc.
13. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
14. Good understanding and hands on experience of agile methodology.
15. Hands-on experience with build & release and deployments.
16. Continuous integration experience with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
17. Familiarity with BDD and technologies like Cucumber, Webdriver.io, Appium and Saucelabs. 18. Familiar with cloud-based architecture like AWS, Azure, etc. preferably SAP Hybris cloud.
