SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Proactively promote the benefits and sales of all Emerson services offerings, maximizing the scope wherever possible.
•Support the sales engineers in their designated territories to ensure the Emerson services
offerings form part of the selling strategy and portfolio.
•Ensure effective closure of the sale of Service contracts.
•Develop justifications and quantifiable business reasons for customers to upgrade to the
latest technologies of Emerson software/hardware solutions.
•Introduce added value Emerson services components to existing customers.
•Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance and ethics procedures in
connection with all transactions and business practices.
•Keep up-to-date with developments and trends in products, industries and market
conditions.
•Develop long-term relationships with senior management within regional customer accounts
to ensure awareness of all Emerson Service capabilities.
•Keep in regular contact with regional customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
and protect the installed base.
•Profile major accounts and establish a clear understanding of business drivers and service
requirements.
•Maintain service sales forecasts and be able to regularly and formally report on service
potential.
•Maximize revenue and profit from the existing installed base.
•Introduce our local service and manufacturing capabilities to customers.
•Provide support on high level Service Strategy Presentations
•Manage and coordinate proposal & pricing requirements for all service related proposals
•Provide necessary communication and reports for tracking of progress and status; including
accurate bookings forecast and service project status
•Provide the criteria and information for establishing QBR’s on key/significant Services projects

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
•Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in industry
•Specific Systems Product Knowledge is an asset (DCS and AMS)
•Proven Sales experience
