PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ MAIN DUTIES
Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to UCIC safety policy.
Outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures.
Evaluates and analyses accident/incident and near miss reports to understand causes and recommend remedial measures to prevent future accidents.
Daily/weekly and monthly reporting of NCRs, violations and safety statistics.
Maintaining the Firefighting system with all the required documentation as per NFPA 25 standard.
Conducts periodic risk assessments on all equipment/machineries and enforces the preventive measures.
Conducts monthly safety committee meetings with minutes circulated to all concern.

Certified as Professional or Practitioner from MOHR as a mandatory for hiring.
