الوصف الوظيفي 1 Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department. 2 Uses clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyze the patient’s complaints and establish a plan of action in his/her best interest. 3 Initiates investigations which will confirm, establish or rule out diagnosis, or be of benefit to the patient. 4 Refers patients for appropriate specialist opinion or treatment as deemed necessary for the patient. 5 Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patients/families in an effort to promote compliance and shared participation in a caring environment. 6 Follows up those patients with on-going or chronic illness or when a therapeutic response requires evaluation. 7 Carries other clinical duties as assigned by the Director of Family & Community Medicine and in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges. 8 Teaches of staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the Director of F&CM;and the Consultant in planning a programme of career development for trainees. 9 Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme), as applicable. 10 Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education. 11 Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects. 12 Deputises for his superior as required and shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues. 13 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness. 14 To participate in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated. 15 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities. المهارات 2 Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Family Medicine. 3 Clinical Diplomas, e.g. DCH, DRCOG or DTMoH 4 Specialised professional post higher qualification experience in Family & Community Medicine for a minimum of two (2) years 5 Some post qualification experience in F&CM;(Category C and D hospitals). 6 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field. 7 Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
