Duties and Responsibilities

Performs all applicable tasks and duties within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities as assigned by the Medical Record supervisor and Patient Affairs Director.

Proven working knowledge of: Medical / Hospital terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Disease entity, Rules of nomenclature, Computer systems as they pertain to Medical records.

Use of reference materials, Data entry-demonstrating average (40/45 world per minute) speed.

Comprehensive command of the English language both verbal and written.

Ability to work diligently and accurately on repetitive tasks

Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English

Respect patient/department confidentiality code of practice
